- **Event Description**: Enjoy the best of live music in a unique setting with Johnny, Charly and Liam.About this EventRoscrea Heritage Society is delighted to welcome back Johnny Keegan, Charly Ford and Liam Wright to The Black Mills Sessions for what promises to be a fantastic evening of live music in a truly unique setting..The Black Mills dates from the first half of the 18th century and is situated beside Roscrea's 11th-century Round Tower and 12th-century Romanesque church. The mill and surrounding lands have been in State care since 1991, when extensive restoration work began to preserve this important historic site and make it accessible to the public. The building also provides a protected home for St Cronan's Cross, which was relocated there to ensure its preservation for future generations.Renowned for its excellent acoustic properties, the mill provides an intimate and atmospheric venue for live music. This talented trio will perform an eclectic mix of songs from artists such as Hank Williams, Leonard Cohen and Creedence Clearwater Revival, along with many other favourites. As seating is limited, tickets must be purchased in advance.
