- **Event Description**: Spend a creative and inspiring day discovering the art of linocut printmaking. Whether you’re completely new or looking to build on existing skills, this relaxed, hands-on workshop will guide you through the entire process from design to final print.

You’ll create a 15cm x 15cm linocut design, exploring a variety of mark-making techniques to add texture, depth and personality to your work. Templates will be available to support you, but you’re warmly encouraged to bring along your own sketches and inspiration so you can develop something truly individual and original.

With step-by-step guidance, you’ll transfer your design onto lino, learn safe and effective carving techniques, and then move on to the exciting stage of printing your work. We’ll be using the vibrant and playful rainbow roll inking technique, blending colours directly onto the roller for beautifully unique, multi-tonal prints.

By the end of the day, you’ll have produced six prints of your finished design to take home, along with your carved lino block so you can continue printing or refining your piece whenever you wish.

A full day of creativity, colour and craftsmanship — and a wonderful introduction to the satisfying world of linocut printmaking.
