Join us for a community clean-up in the heart of Romford as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s national Great British Spring Clean campaign.
📅 Date: Saturday 14th March
🕙 Time: 10:00am - 12:30pm
📍 Meeting Point: Outside St Edward the Confessor Church, Romford Market Place
Start the morning with a meet & greet from 10:00am at the gazebo by the church entrance. Enjoy free hot drinks and biscuits while teams are organised before heading out to help spruce up the town.
Volunteer activities may include:
Litter picking
Graffiti removal
Plant pot maintenance
🧤 10:30am - Clean-up begins
All equipment will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own gloves or litter pickers if you prefer.
🥪 12:30pm - Thank you!
As a token of our appreciation, all volunteers will receive a voucher for a free lunch roll from one of the market traders.
🐾 Special Guests - Meet the Wombles!
Characters from The Wombles - Madame Cholet and Tobermory - will be visiting Romford for meet-and-greet sessions outside the church at intervals between 10:00am - 2:30pm.
