What's Happening?

From 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, we'll be hosting a variety of family-friendly activities, including:

?️ RMHC Collectible Pen Sales

Then, at approximately 2:00 PM, our Business Manager, Jo, will be taking centre stage and shaving off over 3 feet of her hair to donate to The Little Princess Trust, helping provide real-hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer and other conditions.

All sponsorship money raised through Jo's head shave, along with proceeds from our event activities, will go towards supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

Why Are We Doing This?

At McDonald's, we're always looking for ways to give back to our community. Jo has a passion for helping others and wanted to make a meaningful impact by donating her hair while raising as much money as possible for RMHC. This event is a chance for our team, customers, and local community to come together for two fantastic causes.

Our Fundraising Goal

We've set up a JustGiving page where people can sponsor Jo's head shave, with an initial target of £1,000. However, we're aiming to raise as much as possible through both sponsorships and donations made during the event.

Cash and card payments will be accepted on the day, making it easy for everyone to contribute.

What is Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC)?

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a global non-profit organisation dedicated to helping families stay close to their children while they receive hospital treatment. By providing accommodation and support services near hospitals, RMHC helps remove barriers to care, keeps families together, and ensures parents can remain by their child's side when they need them most.
