 Join us for a meaningful and inspiring quilting journey as we stitch together history, storytelling, and beautiful craftsmanship in our Underground Railroad Block of the Month program. 

This 6-month Block of the Month series will explore the rich symbolism and historical significance behind the Underground Railroad quilt blocks.

 Each month, we will cover 2–3 blocks, allowing plenty of time to learn, sew, and reflect. Each class session will begin with Heather Shores, who will share a fascinating history lesson about the blocks featured that month—their origins, meanings, and the stories they represent. Following the history portion, Elisabyth Isbell will guide you step-by-step through the construction of the blocks, offering tips, techniques, and encouragement along the way. 

Class Details Cost: $60 for the full 6-month series 
Duration: 6 months 
Blocks Covered: 2–3 blocks per month 
Meeting Times: 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:30 AM (Attend the session that works best for you!) 

Registration Note While this is a 6-month series, we ask that you sign up monthly for each class session. This helps us ensure we have adequate seating and supplies prepared for everyone attending that month. Supplies

 The Underground Railroad Sampler Book is required and may be purchased separately — we have plenty in stock at the shop. 

We have beautiful fat quarter bundles curated specifically for this quilt arriving around February 1st.
 Price: $140
 Class Discount: Students enrolled in the class will receive 10% off the fat quarter bundle.
