Our first-ever Speed Skating Clinic is your chance to experience the speed, excitement, and fun of roller speed skating! Whether you’re a recreational skater looking to improve your skills, a hockey player wanting to become faster, or someone who simply loves to skate, this clinic is for you. 

Participants will learn proper skating form, powerful crossovers, and the fundamentals of speed skating. We’ll start with timed laps to see how fast everyone can skate, then organize races with skaters of similar ability levels. You’ll also learn how to skate a speed skating track, participate in pace-line drills, and practice passing techniques used by speed skaters.

No speed skating experience is necessary. This clinic is designed for skaters of all skill levels who want to have fun, challenge themselves, and become stronger, faster skaters.

Quad and inline skaters are both welcome!

Ages 5 and up welcome!

Safety Equipment
• A properly fitting helmet is required for all participants.
• Elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards are optional.

What to Wear
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and don’t dress too warmly. Speed skating is a great workout, and you’ll warm up quickly as we practice drills and races.

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skating skills, try something new, or discover a new passion, this is a great opportunity to experience one of the fastest and most exciting forms of roller skating.
