FLAVIA DI TOMASSO Violinist, concert performer, artistic director of festivals and concert shows including in particular Capriccio Italiano Festival - Rome in the Sagrestia of Borromini in Piazza Navona in Rome, teacher and promoter of important cultural projects through the Luogo Arte Accademia Musicale of which she is the creator, Flavia Di Tomasso graduated from Santa Cecilia in Rome under the guidance of Claudio Buccarella and perfected, among others, with Domenico Nordio and Massimo Marin. Her carries out an intense concert activity in the chamber environment in an eclectic way, ranging from baroque to contemporary music and expanding her experiences in the theater field. She also recently oversaw the direction of the International Composition Competition Premio Musica Nova, of which Maestro
Ennio Morricone was President of the Commission at the first and second edition. Among the many activities, in particular, she plays with the Mirabilis Ensemble and she is the first violin of the Luogo Arte Ensemble.

Graduated in violin, viola and chamber music. She has collaborated as viola in a row with several orchestras of Italian opera foundations: Cagliari Opera House, Sicilian Symphony Orchestra, Teatro Massimo “V. Bellini ”in Catania, San Carlo Theater, Petruzzelli Theater in Bari, Rome Opera House, under the direction of G. Kuhn, D. Renzetti, H. Soudant,
J. Conlon, Y. Temirkanov, J. Lopez- Cobos. She is a member of numerous chamber groups including the "Luogo Arte Ensemble" and the "Mirabilis Ensemble". She was a violin teacher at the Nucleo of Catania "Musica con Librino" of the "System of Italian Orchestras and Youth Choirs" (inspired by the Venezuelan "Abreu System"). She is currently a tenured violin teacher at secondary schools in the province of Latina.
