L'amore per la memoria orale, per il "cunto", per le storie ascoltate da bambino e raccontate  da sua nonna, lo ha portato a pensare uno spettacolo nel quale utilizzare lo strumento che più di tutti lo rappresenta. Lo strumento in grado di evocare e far rivivere gli scenari narrati : IL TAMBURO.
