Are you ready to take your dancing to the next level? We’re holding auditions for our Performance Companies, and we’re looking for dedicated, passionate dancers to join us for an exciting season of training, performances, and competitions!

Audition Details
Date: Friday May 16th
Time: 5:00-7:00pm

Who Can Audition?

Dancers must be 6 by October 2025
Dancers must plan to enroll in jazz, ballet, lyrical, or modern fall of 2025
Commitment to regular classes, performances, and competitions is required
What to Expect at Auditions
Dancers will be evaluated on:

Technique Across the Floor – Demonstrating turns, leaps, flexibility, and strength
Choreography – Learning and performing a short combination
Solo Performance – Each dancer must choreograph and perform their own solo in front of a panel of judges (at least 4 8counts but not exceeding 1.5min)
Stage Presence & Commitment – Show us your passion, confidence, and dedication!
Time Commitment

Weekly rehearsals + required dance classes.  Dancers are only permitted 3 unexcused absences in their regular class and only 2 unexcused absences in the company rehearsal.  Company rehearsals will be on Wednesdays 
Commit to rehearsing once a week over the summer months
Additional rehearsals leading up to competitions and performances
Participation in all scheduled competitions and events
Financial Commitment
Competitive dance requires dedication both in time and finances. Parents should be prepared for:

Tuition & Class Fees ($70/class monthly)
Competition Entry Fees about $200/competition
One time $65 costume fee
Parent Commitment

Support dancers with punctuality and attendance at rehearsals & competitions
Assist with team fundraisers and studio events.  This year we are looking for at least 2 parents to lead fundraisers
Check the BAND app often to stay up to date with communication
Be an encouraging presence for your dancer and the team!
