November Meeting "The Hidden World of Macrophotography" with Alex Andes-Gascon

Join us for our November meeting, Thursday, November 13 at 7pm in room 200 of the First United Methodist Church at 803 N Main St, Rolla. You do not have to be a member to join the meeting. All are welcome!

Our guest speaker Alex Andes-Gascon will present "The Hidden World of Macrophotography"

Alex is a 1st year PhD student at Missouri S&T in the biological sciences department. His research focuses on ant diversity in the neotropics. Alex was born in Brazil to a Canadian father and Brazilian mother though he was raised in Maryland. He considers himself a naturalist, and enjoys getting to know a place by learning what flora and fauna are around. However, insects hold a special place in his heart.
