Clocks change on March 8, 2026 and we’re super excited to help spread the word this year about the long standing WNR. (We’re also hoping to be able to provide refreshments in the parking lot after when schedule/availability allows.)
The hope is that this year there will be two ride options (with possibly a 3rd, if there is interest).
Both Options 1+ 2 will follow this route:

Both Options 1+2 will start at the same time and place. (Initially start time will be 5:30pm through March, moving to 6pm for April-September, and reverting back to 5:30pm for October.)
Option 1 will have a moving speed average of roughly 20+mph.
Option 2 will have a moving speed average initially of maybe 16-17 mph, with it increasing to 18mph as the season progresses.

Ride leader/organizer is Russ Spaulding, who has done an awesome job putting this ride on/together for the last several years. (His number, if you have questions and/or want to be added to his WNR text string is 417 840 0170.)
So – Option 3? If we can find a ride leader, and if we can find enough interest – the thought is that Option 3 could be a 10-15 mile route, at roughly 12-14mph – scheduled to end roughly when the other rides end. If you are interested in Option 3 and/or willing to lead Option 3 – please message SBCA directly.
