- **Event Description**: Join us Tuesday, August 11, from 12:00-2:00 pm to learn the basics of home canning. Whether you have been canning for a long time and just want a refresher or are just getting started, this class is for you! We'll discuss everything you need to know to can fruits, vegetables, meats, pickles, and salsas. There will be a display of basic canning equipment and time for Q & A. This class will be taught by University of Arkansas Extension Service Family and Consumer Science Agents, Trudy McManus and Cathy Love.

Feel free to bring your own lunch; coffee, tea, and a dessert will be provided.

RPL Lunch and Learn programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Rogers Public Library.
