The New Space Race: How Data, Resources, and Power Are Shaping Our Future

The Rogers City Zonta Club is partnering with the Presque District Library to deliver live-stream events. Our next event is Thursday March 19th.

The welcome reception with light refreshments is scheduled to take place prior to the event at 6:00 in the Constance Jordan room (Rogers City). The streamed event will follow at 7pm.

Northwestern Michigan College's International Affairs Council is hosting the discussions again in Traverse City.


IAF Student Leadership Team explores the new space race—where governments and corporations are competing for technological advantage, control of data, and access to critical resources. As space development moves faster than international laws and agreements, students and guest experts will discuss what this means for everyday citizens, our environment, and the global balance of power—and why cooperation across nations is more important than ever as humanity reaches beyond Earth. 🚀🌍
