Punk/Garage/Indie uit Manchester!

Bruise Control bevindt zich ergens tussen de indie uit de jaren 2000 en de hardcore uit de jaren 80 en heeft zich een opvallende naam verworven binnen de Britse punkscene, dankzij hun zelfgeproduceerde releases en hun reputatie voor chaotische liveoptredens. Gitarist Niall Griffin, bassist Ru Gilfillan en drummer Tommy Victor Morris richten zich op het creëren van pakkende, messcherpe indie-punk, gedragen door de nuchtere teksten en de furieuze voordracht van zanger Jim Taylor.

Een concert van Bruise Control is een clusterbom. Dat merkten niet alleen enkele invallers; maar ook Dansende Beren tijdens Left of the Dial 2025: "We moeten nog altijd bijkomen van Bruise Control op Left of the Dial. De heren uit Manchester waren een van de grootste revelaties van het Rotterdamse ontdekkingsfestival, waar ze ons aan het einde van de eerste festivaldag alle hoeken van Rotown lieten zien".

Zo weggeblazen van hun sound & attitude als we waren tijdens ontdekkingsfestival Left of the Dial; wilden we ze per sé ook op ons eigenste Krottegemse podium. INVAL is zo bij één van de eerste locaties buiten de UK waar de band optreedt.
