We’re excited to announce that registration for the Going the Distance for Brain Injury Run 2026 is officially open! This meaningful event takes place on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026 and features a 10K run, 5K run, 1.5-mile walk, a Fun4Kids event, and virtual race options for all participants.
Why Going the Distance matters for BIAKS:
🌟 Supports BIAKS’s Mission
Proceeds from the race directly benefit BIAKS, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving quality of life for people affected by brain injury. Your registration helps support programs, resources, advocacy, and community outreach for survivors and their families.
💛 Builds Community & Awareness
Whether you run, walk, volunteer, or bring a team, this race brings together friends, families, and supporters to raise awareness of the challenges faced by those living with brain injury — and to celebrate their strength.
👟 Everyone Can Participate
With options for all ages and abilities — from competitive runners to families and virtual participants — this event is a wonderful way to get involved, stay active, and show support for an important cause.
