Eight hours later, they walked out with a full album. Most of the songs were cut in one or two takes, built from rough ideas and finished on the spot. The result is immediate, unfiltered, and unmistakably the Fellows.Loft has since taken on a second life, expanding beyond that raw session into something more cinematic, with new arrangements, guest appearances (including Neko Case, Peter Buck, and members of Wilco and The Decemberists), and a wider sonic palette.
