Mission
M_Power Her is more than an event—it’s a movement. Through the transformative power of dance, we unite communities to amplify women’s voices, foster healing, and promote resilience.
Vision
We envision a world where dance becomes a catalyst for empowerment and solidarity. By connecting the DMV dance community with global initiatives, we aim to:
- Support survivors of domestic violence locally
- Empower women globally, where women’s voices often go unheard.
Commitment
100% of this years event proceeds will support a local Washington, D.C. organization and a Kazakhstan-based initiative. These organizations share the same mission and vision, united in their unwavering commitment to combating domestic violence and empowering survivors across different continents.
Through rhythm and collective energy, we break barriers and celebrate women’s strength—locally and globally. Dance is our language; empowerment is our mission.

ABOUT THE EVENT
M_Power Her is a movement in Washington D.C. area initiated by Aciela Kalmagambetova and Helena Mambotera celebrating talented and empowering women and a profound impact of a group of women on the dance community.
We come together to share our common passion of dance AND raise funds for nonprofit organizations supporting survivors of domestic violence.
M_Power Her offers all day workshops, party, and performances in different Latin dance styles.
The highlight of M_Power Her is the Panel Discussion. Panel Discussion is a safe space where we raise important issues on domestic violence and discuss with guest speakers, artists and all of you.
Get ready to move, groove, and make a difference! With the rhythms of latin dances we will dance to raise funds to help to support survivors of domestic violence.

ABOUT NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS:
Volare is a DC-based non-profit that provides free and trauma-informed advocacy, legal and therapeutic services to all survivors of crime, including domestic violence.
