+ Inspire Labs, Inc: hands-on NASA Astro Camp-aligned activities for grades K - 6. (1) Straw & Stomp Rockets: Kids design fins/noses, predict flight, and test launches while learning about thrust, stability, and iteration. (2) Pocket Solar System + Planet Finder: Learners build a scale “pocket” model and use simple math to compare distances, orbits, and why seasons differ.
+ Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection- Zero Waste Programs: Check out the worm bin and learn about vermicomposting.
+ Izaak Walton League of America: Learn about the mission of the Izaak Walton League of America, a national conservation organization that works to conserve, restore, & promote the sustainable use & enjoyment of natural resources. Free water testing kits & information about protecting our water supplies will be available.
+ Univ. of MD Radiation Facilities: Learn about radiation and nuclear reactors
+ MAD Science of Washington: Discover the world of STEM through fun, hands-on activities.
+ Robotics Team 4099: Check out this high school team's FRC robot display and control and drive VEX robots.
