Lisa Braun began to practice yoga as a way to maintain flexibility and strength, but while on her journey, the door opened to the spiritual side of Yoga. She received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification in 2009 from the Yoga Polarity Center in Malverne and is currently enrolled in a 500-hourYoga Teacher Training. Her desire is to bring not only the physical and spiritual aspects of Yoga to her students, but to teach them how to relieve stress and anxiety in their lives. Lisa’s style is Hatha linked with a Vinyasa flow, a practice that shapes the body with its power and strength but also allows for moments of rest and reflection. Lisa says, “I believe that Yoga is the key to the balance of the connection between body and mind. I hope that my students can achieve physical and spiritual balance in my class and they sustain that awareness in their everyday lives.”
