About the Artist
"I love the connection art offers us as humans, which transcends the constraints of language, culture and bias."

Born in New England, our featured artist Tessah Stanton was raised on rocky shores and saltwater air, growing up on myths of mermaids and sea dragons while the tide carried the sun on its waves. Thanks to a mother who ensured a pencil was always in hand and paper was always nearby, a lifelong passion for creation was kindled early on.

Tessah’s diverse body of work spans from Fantasy & Folklore, Mythological creatures and ancient tales brought to life.

Studies of the Natural World and deeply textured pieces inspired by the earth and sea.

Her art is sparked by musical lyrics, sudden emotions, vibrant colors, and unexpected moments of inspiration.

When not holding a pencil or a paintbrush, you can often find her at The Wishing Weaver, twisting metals around precious minerals and fossils to craft unique, wearable treasures.
