Join us for a special Leading Ladies networking event as we come together in support of an important community awareness initiative.



Aransas County Medical Services Inc. (ACMSI) – There For YOU!, in conjunction with the Rockport Center for the Arts, is bringing a powerful art installation to our community this April in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.



The installation is inspired by Elina Chauvet’s world-renowned “Zapatos Rojos” (Red Shoes)—a visual call to action where each pair of red shoes represents a survivor or a life lost to sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking. This moving display stands as a symbol of remembrance, awareness, and solidarity.



Our goal is to collect and prepare 200 pairs of shoes of all ages, sizes, and styles to be painted red and displayed as part of the installation.



How You Can Participate
Wear red shoes to the mixer in solidarity


Bring a pair of shoes to be painted red and added to the installation
The completed installation will be on display April 15–26, 2026 at the Aransas County Courthouse.



This is a meaningful opportunity for the Leading Ladies network to come together, raise awareness, and help bring visibility to this important cause.
