- **Event Description**: December 5th 1-5pm Krampus returns to Apothecary Suil Crow. Krampus is the Christmas Devil of Alpine Folklore.

In Alpine folklore, Krampus is a horned, demonic figure who punishes misbehaving children during the Christmas season, acting as a counterpart to Saint Nicholas who will be at our shop with Mrs Claus. He arrives on St. Nicholas Day (December 5th, or Krampusnacht). His robe will benine to remember with chains and bells, to swat children away his walking stick is made with birch branches, and of course his bundle sack to store the bad children away, or carry them away to the underworld.  One way to calm this folklore beast is to offer an orange to him. The sweetness of this action calms the heartbeat of the horned one. Bring your children, and get your photos taken with Krampus this year and don’t forget your orange!
