This Is Not the End

Melissa is now face to face with our Lord.

After 18 beautiful years together, she has completed her earthly journey and entered into eternal peace. For nearly two decades, Melissa was the brightest part of my life, the heartbeat of our family and a living testimony of God's love.

I had studied Bible doctrine for over 20 years before we met, learning first from my grandfather. But when I began sharing those truths with Melissa, something extraordinary happened. She absorbed it all with such openness, and God's love poured out of her in ways words can barely capture. She taught me what love truly means, not just the profound love we shared, but a deep, compassionate love for all people. Melissa was the most precious, loving, caring, strong, and courageous woman I've ever known.

The moment I first saw her, I knew she was my right woman, a priceless gift from God that I never deserved. She made me a better man in every way. From the day we met, my life's purpose centered on one thing: providing a path for her to live fully free, free to let God's love flow through her and touch every life she encountered.

She and our precious daughter Lola were inseparable, spending every moment together until Melissa's stroke on August 30, 2025. Now, with her suffering ended and her spirit safely home with the Lord, I will cherish every memory we made. I will carry on, ensuring Lola can live free as well, equipped with the lessons of faith, love, and courage her mother poured into her, so she can become the extraordinary woman God created her to be.

Melissa, I love you with every fiber of my being. Until we meet again, hold a place for me in heaven. I will join you when God calls my time here complete.
