Topics include:
- Quarter-square and flying geese units to make Sawtooth Star and Ohio Star blocks
- Planning your quilt top arrangement
- Emphasis on accurate cutting and stitching
Materials needed for class:
Sewing machine in good working order
Quarter inch foot for machine (optional but useful)
Thread in white or neutral color
Seam ripper, Rotary cutter, Pins, Scissors
Quilting ruler at least 6” x 12”
Small cutting mat (These will be available for use in the classroom also)
At least a quarter yard of 3 or more coordinating cotton quilting fabrics
