Hello everybody,
On behalf of the Greater Sacramento USBC, I am proud to announce the 61st GSA Open Masters tournament coming November 22nd and 23rd to AMF Rocklin Lanes!
After reviewing the Open Masters setup we’ve been using for the past few years, we have decided to make the following adjustments starting with this event:
- The tournament will move from late spring/summer to a fall date that better coincide with the league bowling season and fewer conflicts with other similar tournaments in the area.
- Reservations will now be accepted without pre-payment: Players can reserve a spot online & pay on site on the day of the event with no additional fees. Online or office/mail in payments will still be accepted.
- 20 players are now guaranteed to advancing to the playoffs & cash: 16 open spots, plus 1 spot for each of the following: Highest Qualifying Senior aged 50-59, 60-69, 70+, and Highest Qualifying Player with a composite league average of 199 of less (see rules for details. Players may only represent 1 category, as chosen before the start of the tournament.)
- The tournament will feature a guaranteed 1st place prize of $2,500.00 courtesy of Elite Power, Inc.
- The lane condition will be a house shot of 39 feet
Qualifying for the 61st GSA Open Masters will take place on Saturday, November 22nd. There will be 2 qualifying squads: 9:00am and 2:00pm. Re-entries are permitted. Check in opens at 8am for the first squad. The tournament playoffs will take place the next day, Sunday, November 23rd, starting at 10:00am.
The address for AMF Rocklin Lanes is 2325 Sierra Meadows Drive, Rocklin, CA 95677.
