These school holidays, join us for a hands-on gem hunting adventure where you’ll learn how to wash and search for your very own sapphires and zircons. We provide all the equipment, making it an easy, exciting and memorable experience for kids and adults alike.

The wash we use is sourced directly from Rubyvale in Central Queensland and is guaranteed to contain sparkling gems waiting to be discovered. Guided by our very own Gemhunter Frith, who has over 30 years of experience in sapphire mining and prospecting, you’ll learn real techniques used on the Gemfields while uncovering treasures of your own. ?

✨ Children under 12 must be accompanied by an assisting adult
