- **Event Description**: Join us for the 165th Annual Burns Banquet! Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Country Club.  5151 Guilford Road, Rockford, Illinois.

*  The Clan MacAlpine Bagpipe Band's Pipes and Drums will be     playing and will be joined by musicians from the City of Rockford Pipe Band, whose support helps continue this cherished tradition.
*  Highland Dancing by the Thistle & Heather Highland Dancers.
*  A delicious meal prepared by Mauh-Nah-Tee-See and with a taste of a few Scottish favorites.  Also, Haggis will be prepared for guests to enjoy throughout the night.
*  Address to A Haggis by Jim McDowell 
*  Toasts ... A toast to the Haggis, Toast to the Lassies and the Lassies response by Jim McDowell and Jodi Beach 
*  The Immortal Memory by guest speaker Amanda Becker
*  Display of Rockford Burns Club memorabilia
*  Display of pre-18th century Scottish weapons 
*  Silent Auction filled with hints of Scotland throughout.

 The cocktail hour begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the traditional "Call to Tables" at 6:00 p.m.

To buy tickets, kindly fill out the order form pinned above and send it along with your payment or by using the Venmo Code provided on the form.   Club President Christy Brooks will acknowledge your reservation through email.
