The Summer Solstice also marks the longest day of the year, which offers us a sacred opportunity to pause and focus on releasing what is no longer serving us across mind, body, and soul so we can welcome a new season of life with greater capacity and clarity.

On June 20, the day before the Summer Solstice, the Sound Baths at Boochie series at Boochie-Kombucha & Wellness Bar offers you that sacred opportunity to pause, reflect, and release by listening to restorative and healing sounds, frequencies, and vibrations. During this 60-minute sound bath under the calming aura of 75+ candles, Matty Makowski, a certified Sound Healing & Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Practitioner and owner of Matty Sunshine Sound Healing, plays various instruments - including 8 crystal singing bowls, a Heng gong named Sunny, Tingsha cymbals, and more - that produce these sounds, frequencies, and vibrations that have the power to shift brainwaves into a deeply relaxed state. In this state, your nervous system can relax and release, allowing your natural healing abilities to work more effectively. This can help bring you back into vibrational and energetic alignment across mind, body, and spirit.

Some of the potential benefits of attending sound baths in a single session or regularly over time include, but are not limited to:

TICKETS: $30 per person (tickets for this event include a 60-minute sound bath and a kombucha sampler provided by Boochie). Due to limited space, please reserve your spot by registering via SignUpGenius and then finalize your registration by sending the $30 ticket price via Venmo to Jennifer Bullis-Makowski at @jennifermakowski (#4322) or pay in-person at Boochie during open hours.

WHAT TO BRING: You are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, water, and soft and comfortable clothes that allow you to fully relax. Depending on the thickness of your yoga mat, you may also consider bringing something additional to lay on top of, like an extra blanket, sleeping bag, or even a pool float. Eye masks will also be available if needed to help enhance your relaxation. If you will need to sit upright, Boochie has a handful of cozy chairs available on a first come, first serve basis.
