The 2nd City Chorus was founded in 1996 and has earned the distinction as one of Rockford’s outstanding musical ensembles. The men and women of the 2nd City Chorus come from all walks of life - they are teachers, engineers, salespersons, pilots, mechanics, counselors, doctors, nurses and retirees. The one thing they have in common is a tremendous love for music in the Barbershop style! Learn more: https://2ndcitychorus.com/  Doors open at 2pm. There is no admission charge, but goodwill donations from the audience pay the musician(s) and help to defray the church's event hosting costs. Attendance is limited to 150. Those who wish guaranteed general seating* regardless their arrival time may make an early 'down payment' donation in the form of a $5 nonrefundable ticket at https://www.zeffy.com/ticketing/2nd-city-chorus-3pm-12-6--25 . Those who are unable to buy online may email cotc4500@gmail.com or phone 815.979.1949 for special arrangements. The recommended total donation is $10, but any amount is appreciated. Light refreshments and bottled soft beverages will be available. We offer free off-street parking for 95 vehicles and our all-on-one-floor listening area is easily accessible; the acoustics are excellent.
