Throughout his tenure, he has presented the address in a variety of settings, from neighborhood schools and community gatherings to formal presentations before the City Council. This approach reflects his belief that residents, elected officials and community partners all deserve direct access to information about the city’s direction.

This year, the Mayor will present the address to the business community at the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce’s event to highlight the vital role employers, entrepreneurs and investors play in fostering economic growth and shaping Rockford’s future.  The Mayor will highlight recent accomplishments and outline his priorities for the year ahead in public safety, economic development, and neighborhoods. 

Please note, a recording of the State of the City will be made available following the event. You can find it on the City of Rockford’s Facebook and YouTube pages.

Registration closes April 9. Day-of registration will not be available.
