Back by popular demand!
Join us for a creative afternoon at Township Center Park as we paint rocks that will become part of a beautiful, permanent labyrinth-style path for all to enjoy!
Led by local artist Jeff Grill, this hands-on event invites kids of all ages (best for ages 4-12) to tap into their creativity. After painting, the rocks will be sealed and carefully arranged into a decorative walking path, that children and families can return to walk, reflect, and enjoy for years to come.
“This is about more than just painting rocks,” says Jeff Grill, the artist behind the project. “It’s about giving kids a sense of pride and place—knowing they’ve contributed to something lasting in our community.”
All materials will be provided. Just bring your creativity (and maybe wear something you don’t mind getting a little paint on). After the event, the rocks will be sealed and placed in the new labyrinth later this summer.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please meet under the red pavilion by the Fire Truck Play Ground.
If you have any cleaned rocks, palm-sized to small boulders, we’d love for you to bring those as well!
