First Tuesday Lecture Series - LGBTQIA+ Community College Students Lived Experiences
First Tuesday Lecture presented by Professor Moria Nagy. Join us for LGBTQIA+ Community College Students Lived Experiences Regarding Science Identity and Sense of Belonging. This lecture will dive into a multi-institution study regarding LGBTQIA+ community college students taking science courses that revealed their lived experiences regarding science identity and sense of belonging. These themes have been shown to be important factors in student retention and academic success in many minoritized student populations.
