Title:  Geometry and Construction: You don't have to build a house!

Abstract:  Although there are some very cool classes called Geometry in Construction that build a house while learning geometry, we have focused on smaller projects tied to the Geometry curriculum at our school.  These serve as a basis for our new Geometry, Design and Construction course.

Speaker Bios:  Aimee Hart is a faculty member in the Mathematics Department at New Trier High School. Devan Castellano is a faculty member in the Applied Arts Department at New Trier High School.

One time membership fee for students: $10 (cash or check) 

Membership for others: $20 (cash or check)
