He Chose the Nails by Max Lucado

A Lenten Book Study will start Wednesday, March 4-April 1, 2025 at 7:00PM at The Church of the Rockaways, 1 Hoagland Ave, Rockaway, NJ.

This will be a five-week (5) study ending on Easter week. Max Lucado, a wonderful storyteller and Bible scholar, leads us through each of the items that we find at Jesus’ crucifixion: the nails, the crown of thorns, the sign on the cross, the cat-of-nine tails, the robe, the burial cloth, etc.

Amongst these signs and symbols, Max Lucado weaves stories that will make you laugh, and others that will bring tears to your eyes and a pull at your heart. Throughout the study is the recurring statement by Jesus: “I did it all for you.”
