Welcome to Rhythm and Reign, a regal night of karaoke, courtly competition, and noble giving, all in support of Free Reign Theatre Company. Join our bards, take the stage and raise your voices for the arts! It’s “pay-to-play” karaoke for a cause, where every note helps fund the next great performance.

- Costumes, sets, and more
Dress Code:
Channel your inner noble! Costumes are welcome—think Renaissance royalty, wandering bards, your D&D character, tavern folk, or Shakespearean stars. Tattooed Brews even has a photo booth to commemorate your costumes!
Reserve Your Scroll (RSVP):
To enter to sing in the first round of participation, you must first register to secure your spot in the royal lineup.
Advanced registration is encouraged but onsite registration will be available beginning at 6 pm the day of the event.

How It Works:
Entry Fee: $5
Includes one song choice to perform. Everyone who has signed up sings through once before repeat performers sing additional songs.
Sing with a Bard: $15
A duet with a Free Reign or Tattooed Brews “Bard” of your choice!
Nominate a Friend to Sing: $20
One person can nominate another person (who is not a Bard) to sing, but the nominated singer gets to choose the song.
Court Jester Pass: $20
Anyone can buy their way out of not singing a song if nominated, BUT if they are nominated again and still want to opt-out, the price goes up to $25 to pass.
Mystery Song From the Queen’s Scroll: $30
This is a roulette or a “kamikaze” karaoke donation. DJ Havoc (a.k.a. Tony) will select a random song for you to sing.
Glide Past the Peasants: $40
In a rush to sing your heart out? With this donation, you advance to the front of the line for two selected songs to be sung back-to-back.
Take the Mic by Royal Override: $50
Think you can sing it better? Donate $50 to take the mic mid song from the person currently singing – if you dare!
Tip the Crown: Any amount can be donated to celebrate a performance by anyone that’s actively singing, or to show your love for Free Reign!
Prizes will be awarded, including:
- Knight of the Mic – Best overall performance
- The Queen’s Choice – Audience favorite
- Royal Fool Award – Funniest act of the night
- Most Noble Giver – Highest donor
