Midnight Communion Service

Step into Christmas with Midnight Communion on Christmas Eve at 11:00pm at St Francis Church, Galahad Avenue, Strood.

This year, the Church of England invites us to focus on JOY—the deep, lasting joy that comes as we celebrate Jesus’ birth. In a calm, candlelit service we’ll sing carols, hear the Christmas Gospel, and share in Holy Communion, welcoming Christ into our hearts and homes.

What to expect

A reflective, reverent service ending around midnight

Well-loved carols and Bible readings (Luke 2:10—“good news of great joy”)

A short message on the JOY Christ brings—hope, peace, and light for today

Everyone is welcome—come as you are
