Lee ‘Bunny’ Bunstone
Custodian of Kent Soul Club between 2013 and 2018 during difficult times at The Royal Function Rooms, having to move the club several times to keep the KSC blood pumping. An integral part of KSC history playing a superb mix of Classic Northern and 60’s Soul, welcome back Bunny.
 
Julia Flack 
Being a massive part of Kent Soul Club since 2018 quietly doing the ‘Early Bird Set’ and now being recognized at other Venues with her selection of Soul. Julia is one to watch in the future of Northern Soul. Many have asked for her full set. Her time is now.

Kent Soul Club is in its 20th Year. Playing Original Vinyl Northern Soul, Rare Soul, Soul & Motown to 1000’s of people from all over the UK. Having gone through some very challenging times and circumstances, we have survived and endured and grown. 5 Custodians, 3 different venues, and of all things, the Covid pandemic.

5 custodians have committed themselves to the running of the club since 2006, each bringing their own style, sound and commitment to keeping the dance floor full for all our members.

We have moved from the Fantastic Royal Function Rooms in Rochester, to the Beacon Court Gillingham returning to The Function Rooms that sadly closed in late 2021. Now in our new home, Strood & Frindsbury WMC in 2026, we are in our 20th Year.

To commemorate our 20th Anniversary year, we have decided to celebrate the past and the future of the Northern Soul Scene and Kent Soul Club.

At each of this years 5 events, a past custodian of Kent Soul Club and a young Northern Soul DJ will take to the decks. Plus, a few surprises throughout the year, it will be a very exciting time for Kent Soul Club.

Strood Train Station is 5 mins walk from the venue
There are many hotels in the area from as little as £45 for a double room
