The Excursion Jazz Orchestra performs in a variety of venues including the Eastman School of Music's prestigious Kilbourn Hall, Kodak Hall, the CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival, the Fairport Canal Days, the Gates Chili Community Annual Music Festival, the Jazz 90.1 WGMC Jazz Series, the Highland Park Jazz in the Bowl event, the Charlotte Harbor Festival and at several area high schools.Mid-Century Modern Jazz QuartetThe repertoire is a very eclectic mix of straight-up jazz: Miles, Monk, Gershwin, Golson, Porter, Shorter, Silver, Rollins, Jobim, Ellington, just to name a few.
