Back By Popular Demand! Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas brings the beloved Jim Henson television special to life, live on stage. Hailed by The New York Times for its “superb score” by Academy Award–winning songwriter Paul Williams, this nostalgic tale takes us to Frogtown Hollow, where Ma and Emmet Otter risk what little they have to make each other’s holiday dreams come true. This very merry musical is a heartwarming celebration perfect for the entire family. It’s three days before Christmas and Mayor Fox has just announced a Christmas talent contest with a grand prize of fifty dollars! Meanwhile, times are tough for Ma and Emmet Otter since Pa passed away, and winning that prize money would allow them to secretly buy each other a Christmas gift. Emmet considers forming a jug-band with his friends, but in order to do that he’ll have to put a hole in Ma’s washtub. The problem is, Ma earns money by doing other folks’ laundry in the washtub. Ma thinks about hocking Pa’s old toolbox so she can make a costume for the contest, but Emmet uses those tools to do odd jobs. As Christmas Eve and the talent contest quickly approach, will Ma and Emmet sacrifice what little they have, or will their Christmas wishes come true? Wednesday, November 25 at 7:30PM* Friday, November 27 at 2PM** Friday, November 27 at 7:30PM Saturday, November 28 at 2PM Saturday, November 28 at 7:30PM Sunday, November 29 at 2PM Sunday, November 29 at 6PM Wednesday, December 2 at 7:30PM Thursday, December 3 at 7:30PM Friday, December 4 at 7:30PM Saturday, December 5 at 2PM Saturday, December 5 at 7:30PM Sunday, December 6 at 2PM Sunday, December 6 at 6PM Wednesday, December 9 at 7:30PM Thursday, December 10 at 7:30PM Friday, December 11 at 7:30PM Saturday, December 12 at 2PM Saturday, December 12 at 7:30PM * Preview Performance (11/25) **Opening Night (11/27) - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/rochester/jim-hensons-emmet-otters-jug-band-christmas/200030625084340 - **Event Categories**: Music, Entertainment, Contests, Art, Theatre - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 7 ## Ticket Details ## Event venue details - **city**: Rochester - **state**: NY - **country**: United States - **location**: 3450 Winton Pl, Rochester, NY, United States, New York 14623 - **lat**: 43.09707 - **long**: -77.57868 - **full address**: 3450 Winton Pl, Rochester, NY, United States, New York 14623 ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events2/banners/2e116b91cce65738a6d7ad3758a48b12a8cc49cd0bd193a88a1d5d5f4aec359c-rimg-w1200-h445-dc684898-gmir?v=1788271953 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas being held? - **A:** Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas takes place on Wed, 25 Nov, 2026 at 07:30 pm to Wed, 25 Nov, 2026 at 10:00 pm at 3450 Winton Pl, Rochester, NY, United States, New York 14623. - **Q**: Who is organizing Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas? - **A:** Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas is organized by OFC Creations Theatre Center. - **Q**: What has been the experience of attendees at OFC Creations Theatre Center's events? - **A:** OFC Creations Theatre Center has 157+ followers on AllEvents, reflecting a trusted and active community of event-goers who follow their events.
