Join us for a hands-on floral wreath making workshop using locally grown and foraged dried flowers, herbs and foliage! In this class, students will learn how to create a decorative wreath perfect for home decorating, how to source locally grown flowers, what flowers dry best, and how to dry flowers for optimal quality, color, and longevity. Each participant will get to take home their very own handmade floral wreath.
Please note: Since this is an outdoor class, students need to dress for the weather, warm apparel that you are comfortable crafting in and comfortable shoes are recommended. Thin gloves or gardening gloves are encouraged. If students have their own garden snips, feel free to bring them! If you want to dress up your wreath with any extra odds and ends (think faux birds, birds nests, butterflies, ribbon, etc.) please bring those as well.
This class is appropriate for ages 10+.
This class will take place outdoors at Rochester Brainery located at 176 Anderson Ave. F109, Rochester, NY 14607. Students will be socially distant in class and nothing will be shared.
