Most native bees are gentle, solitary pollinators that do not live in hives or produce honey. New York State is home to more than 450 species of native bees, many of which are increasingly at risk. Participants will be guided step-by-step through the process of assembling and decorating a bee hotel to take home and install in a garden, yard, or outdoor spaces. All supplies are included with registration, including:
