Based on a remarkable true story, Come From Away follows the extraordinary events that unfolded when 38 planes were unexpectedly grounded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the days following September 11, 2001. As thousands of strangers from around the world found themselves far from home, a community stepped up with open hearts, generosity, and humanity.
Told with warmth, humor, and a soaring, Celtic-inspired score, this ensemble-driven musical celebrates kindness in moments of crisis and the powerful connections that form when people come together. Come From Away is a moving reminder that even in the face of uncertainty, compassion can turn strangers into family.
