Founded in 1973, in the wake of Princeton’s transition to coeducation, the Princeton Katzenjammers emerged as the nation’s first mixed-voice a cappella group. Since their inception, the Katzenjammers have spent decades redefining vocal performance on campus and beyond. Renowned for their exceptional versatility, the group’s repertoire spans sacred, classical, jazz, folk, and pop music—ranging from Duruflé’s luminous motet Ubi Caritas to their award-winning arrangement of Thelonious Monk’s ’Round Midnight. Join the Princeton Katzenjammers for an unforgettable afternoon of richly diverse music and expressive vocal artistry.
