The Boxing Initiative at St Francis is a high energy, coached boxing session for ages 13+, designed to build strength in mind, body and spirit.

Led by experienced coaches, you will learn real boxing skills — gloves, pads, footwork, discipline and technique — in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you are brand new or have trained before, the sessions are challenging but achievable, pushing you to grow at your own pace.

But this is more than just boxing.

We believe fitness is not only physical. It is mental. It is spiritual. Each session finishes with a short, encouraging word that challenges and equips you to grow in resilience, character and purpose. This is about Spiritual Fitness as much as physical fitness — strengthening who you are on the inside as well as the outside.
