An Evening with Father Dan Kavanagh: Testimony, and Q&A

We are moving our monthly Mass this month for a wonderful reason! Father Dan Kavanagh is visiting from St. Louis Missouri where he is the Director of Catholic Deaf Ministries. Join us as Father Dan celebrates our monthly Mass at 6pm using American Sign Language! After the Mass, at 6:30pm he will be sharing his testimony and answering any question you may have about what ministry looks like in the deaf community.

Read Father Dan's Bio:
Fr Dan Kavanagh was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and is currently a priest for the Archdiocese of St Louis, Missouri. He was born with Congenital Heart Disease and has had multiple heart surgeries throughout his childhood and now comes to Mayo Clinic annually for follow-up care. As difficult as this path has been for him, it has been through carrying this cross that Fr Dan attributes his deep relationship with God and his vocation to the priesthood. Fr Dan is also hard-of-hearing and currently serves as the Director of Catholic Deaf Ministry for the Archdiocese of St Louis, as well as chaplain at Mother of Good Counsel Home, alongside the religious sisters who operate the Home.
