- **Event Description**: Calling all Tuba and Euphonium players! Oakland University, in collaboration with the Motor City Brass Band, will be hosting Tuba Christmas on Sunday, December 14, at Varner Recital Hall, conducted by Dr. Kenneth Kroesche.

This annual event invites Tuba and Euphonium players of all ages from across the region for a morning of rehearsing Christmas carols in preparation for the concert that afternoon at 12:00 pm. The concert is free and open to the public!

To participate, here's what you need to know!

Schedule for Sunday, December 14 2025.
8:15 am - Registration
9:15 - 11:15 am - Mandatory Rehearsal
12:00 - 12:45 pm - Concert

Registration to Play:
Registration Fee: $15. 
Music (Carols for a Merry Tuba Christmas - Wilder and Bewley): $20. 
All must be paid with cash, Venmo, or PayPal.

Additional merchandise is available for purchase.  

Decorate your horn and wear holiday hats and clothing as you wish! 

There is no break for "out to lunch", so bring snacks if needed.
