# Event Details - **Event Name**: 2026 Rochester Garden Walk - **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 18 Jun, 2026 at 10:00 am – Thu, 18 Jun, 2026 at 05:00 pm - **Event Description**: Blossoming right here in the greater Rochester area!About this EventA garden stroll in the early summer is a delight – it’s even better when joined by friends and family, and with gardens staffed with knowledgeable gardeners. This event is co-hosted by the Rochester Garden Club and The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm, showcasing gorgeous, private and public gardens in the greater Rochester area. Tour at your own pace.Museum and Private Gardens will be open 10am- 5pm. You will exchange your ticket for a garden guide the week of the event. The garden guide has a map of gardens, as well as discounts to some of your favorite local businesses!We hold the Garden Walk rain or shine, no refunds, and we will hope for a shining day every year! Day of event tickets are $20 and only sold in person at the Museum.**Tickets can be purchased in person, in advance at $16, until June 17 at the following locations: Auburn Oaks Garden Center, Bordine's Nursery (Rochester only), Fogler's Greenhouse, Piechnik's Garden Gate.ALL GUESTS MUST:Visit the museum to exchange their tickets purchased on Eventbrite and other physical locations for a Garden Guide with Map. Please do not ask to use restrooms at our private gardens.What shoes should I wear? How much walking is involved?Closed toe sneakers are encouraged. This is a popular event, and at times parking may be a distance from individual gardens. Gardens may have uneven ground, artistic staircases, and even mud depending on the weather.Are rain checks available?The Garden Walk is a rain or shine event. No rain checks are issued. No refunds. Please dress according to weather conditions.Do children need their own tickets?Children 14 and under do not need tickets. Please be aware that some garden terrain may be uneven and require care when walking. Children should remain under parental control.Are dogs allowed?Dogs are not allowed at any private garden.Will beverages and refreshments be available?There is a Cookie Room at the Museum during the Walk hours, where cookies and lemonade will be available. Otherwise, walkers will need to provide their own refreshments. There are many excellent restaurants in the area.Will there be vendors at The Museum this year?The Rochester Garden Club will share a Fleatique type area with gently used garden and home items for sale at excellent prices. East Michigan Native Plants will supply the native plants on sale. Pre-orders can be picked up at this time.Is it possible to preorder native plants for pick up on the day of the Walk?Preorders are possible.
