Radio Kalahari Orkes

RKO'S music extends from a deeply rooted place, taking on Ghoema, Latin and African music, including anything else found along the gravel road. However, the lyrics are firm on the present.
With acoustic equipment almost as old as the sounds includes violin, guitars, harmonica, bass, kazoo and an old penny whistle.
On April 2017, RKO was honoured with FAK - Prestige Award for their excellent promotion of South African Folk music.
