5 or 10, which K is it going to be? This year, the Good Neighbor Days Race will be back and ready to Challenge you with either the 5K or 10K Run/Walk. The race will take place on the morning of June 1st at 7:30 am. The route will be the same as last year -- same big hill! Chip timing provided by Gopher State Events. Each participant will receive a t-shirt (must per-register to guarantee t-shirt) and goodie bag. Proceeds of the race will go towards the Roberts/Warren Fire & Rescue Dept.
The 5K is an out and back course. The route is mainly flat with a few small rolling hills and one not so small hill near the finish. The 10K is also an out and back course. This challenging route has it all – up hills, down hills, rolling hills and a few flats in between. Both races will start and end at the St. Croix Central Elementary School. Parking is available at the school.
The 5K run/walk will start at 7:30 am; the 10K will start at the same time and after both races are complete, there will be a Kids Fun Run for any kiddo that wants to participate. Race day registration and packet pickup will be between 6:30-7:15am.
This year’s race is brought to you by Fitness To Go and committee members include: Tera Busker and Lisa Christensen. If you have any questions about the race or want to participate in anyway, please contact one of these ladies. There will be opportunities for goodie bag donations, volunteering and of course - running the race itself!
