Women's Freedom Ride is pleased to announce our Women Riders Weekend Getaway for September 2026!!
Wednesday September 2nd - Sunday September 6th
What more beautiful place could you imagine than the Appalachian Mountains in September, with the leaves beginning to change color, riding temperatures in the upper 70's, the low 60's at night, with crisp air and a fire crackling, as you sit by a stream and spend time relaxing with your sisters.
Let alone the fact that you will be surrounded by some of the best motorcycle riding there is, The Dragon/Deals Gap, The Cherohala Skyway, The Moonshiner, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee . . .
This will be a great weekend of riding and relaxing, while enjoying the company of women who love motorcycles.
Just taking it easy.
Arriving on Wednesday the 2nd, with rides planned each day we are there.
You can ride with a group on the Cherohala, or the Dragon, maybe on the Moonshiner. How about lunch before heading to Dry Falls and Bridal Veil falls or maybe rafting or kayaking.
You can ride your own ride and just enjoy the peace and beauty of the NC mountains in the Fall!
Cherokee, Maggie Valley ... it's all breathtakingly beautiful.
Friday evening let's have a fun time celebrating women riders,
while listening to some great music, and laughing with friends.
Meet some of the women behind the Women's Freedom Ride and all the sisters that help to make it amazing!
If we aren't riding, we are sitting by the fire, listening to the stream, telling "biker" tales and enjoying sisterhood.
Cabins (big and small), RV and Tent sites, bunkhouses, Conestoga wagons ... lots of room for everyone at a place designed specifically for motorcycle riders!
The cabins go fast, so make your reservations early! A lot were already reserved while at this year's event.
We hope that all of you will come out and join us at the Ironhorse Motorcycle Lodge, in Stecoah North Carolina, for a great weekend with your sisters of the road!.
